Where does one begin? There are so many choices in color, size and quality that choosing a monument can be a daunting task. At Manchester Memorial Company we specialize in bringing ideas to life. In a sense, we really don't sell monuments at all…we give shape and form to a family's love. We've been doing this for five generations. Your loved one's story is important. Who Is Manchester Memorial Company?

In 1920 J. Louis Boucher crossed the border from his native Canada and took up the granite trade here in the United States. In 1939 he founded Manchester Memorial Company. At that time there were fifteen other monument stores in the area. With a flair and style all his own, J. Louis quickly honed in on the elements which would make his company stand out among all the others… one of a kind, personalized monument designs. Each and every family is unique; every monument should be unique. There were no cheap, car salesman tricks. He earned trust everywhere by simply keeping his word.

Through the years the other companies have disappeared, but Manchester  Memorial Company has remained. In April of 2017 Kristen Smith  joined Jeffrey Boucher in helping all families and individuals coming through our doors. In April of 2018, Loren, Kristen’s husband, also came on board to learn all that we could from Jeff and the industry as a whole. Jeffrey Boucher retired in June of 2021.

Now, with great thanks to Jeff, his father and his grandfather, Loren and Kristen are keeping the promises just the way the Boucher Family used to. We are here to help anyone and everyone to make this sometimes daunting task, one that will be well guided and done in an honorable manner.
